Genoa striker Felipe Caicedo has been offered to Inter and former Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo confirms the Nerazzurri will hold a crucial transfer meeting today.

Caicedo, 33, joined Genoa from Lazio in the summer but has been struggling to live up to expectations, scoring just one goal in ten appearances with the Grifone.

Caicedo scored 33 goals in 137 appearances under Inzaghi at Lazio and former Biancocelesti midfielder Marco Parolo has confirmed the Nerazzurri discuss the Ecuador international in a transfer meeting that will take place today.

“I know there will be a summit to talk about that. Surely the player is keen to join, but the two clubs need to find the right formula,” Parolo told DAZN.

According to Calciomercato.com, Inter have a tight transfer budget, so Beppe Marotta must find a ‘creative formula’ to secure the services of the 33-year-old.

Inter have the most prolific attack in Serie A with 53 goals in 22 games.

However, they’ve lost Joaquin Correa for at least one month due to a grade 2 flexor strain in his left thigh.

The Argentinean will miss games against Milan and Liverpool next month, so the Nerazzurri are keen to sign a new forward to offer more options to Inzaghi.
