Former Roma star Zbigniew Boniek believes Paulo Dybala to Roma would be ‘fantastic’ for the player and the club.

The Argentinean striker is available as a free agent after the end of his contract in June.

He is training alone at his home in Turin, waiting for a new offer from a club.

Inter had been in talks with his entourage, but negotiations with the Nerazzurri are now on hold as Inter must sell at least two strikers following Romelu Lukaku’s return to the club.

Napoli and Roma are monitoring the 28-year-old and are believed to have made their first offers to the player.

Boniek, a former Roma and Juventus star, believes the Argentinean should join the Giallorossi.

“It would be fantastic for him and for Roma,” he wrote on Twitter while on holiday in Italy.

Dybala joined Juventus for €40m in 2015 and scored 115 goals in 293 appearances with the Bianconeri. He has 98 goals in 271 Serie A appearances with Juventus and Palermo.
