Kalidou Koulibaly’s representative Fali Ramadani played a key role in the defender’s move to Chelsea: here’s a profile of one of the most powerful agents in the world.

Ramadani is the man behind Koulibaly’s transfer from Napoli to Chelsea and it’s no coincidence that Aurelio De Laurentiis sees him as the main responsible for the defender’s departure from the Stadio Maradona.

Ramadani was eager to find a new club for his star client and wouldn’t even rule out a move to Juventus, sources tell Football Italia.

However, Koulibaly would rather play for a foreign club, so he picked the Blues and will finalise his move to Stamford Bridge in the coming hours.

Ramadani has met Chelsea at least twice during the last two weeks, reaching an agreement over a €10m-a-year deal for the next five years. The Blues will pay €40m, including add-ons, to secure the defender’s services.

Born in 1963 in North Macedonia, Ramadani is one of the most powerful agents in the world. Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri and Juventus star Federico Chiesa are also part of his clients’ list. The Italian winger’s switch to the Allianz Stadium was also inspired by Ramadani, who convinced Fiorentina to sell his star client to Juventus on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy.

Contrary to what many think, Ramadani is not the agent of Dusan Vlahovic, who Darko Ristic represents.

Leroy Sané, Nikola Milenkovic, Ante Rebic, Luka Jovic, Marcos Alonso, Samir Handanovic and Miralem Pjanic are only some of the other stars on Ramadani’s agenda.

The 59-year-old is under investigation in Italy for alleged tax evasion and money laundering in Koulibaly’s move to Napoli eight years ago and other deals completed with Serie A clubs over the last few years.

  1. ADL is behind K2s departure 100%. Stop writing a hit piece at the player when the stupid, cheap owner is behind it. ADL and family out, Napoli deserves better. Koulibaly is a Napoli legend.
