President Silvio Berlusconi celebrated Milan's 18th Scudetto and promised “some more gifts for the fans over the summer.”

The Rossoneri clinched the Serie A title with a goalless draw at Roma's Stadio Olimpico this evening, ending a five-year Inter reign.

“The Scudetto has finally returned to the red and black side of San Siro,” Berlusconi told Mediaset.

“The Scudetto has finally returned to the red and black side of San Siro,” Berlusconi told Mediaset.

“At the end of the day, I think the title is deserved. All our choices were decisive. Massimiliano Allegri understood our style and the fact we never focus on the result more than giving entertainment on the pitch.

“We made important signings and have a competitive squad, but all this doesn't come cheap. You cannot win in football without spending a lot of money.

“Do I have some more gifts for the fans over the summer? Yes, hopefully the transfer market will allow me to do that for the supporters.”
