Sampdoria wing-back Bartosz Bereszynski is doing well at the World Cup with Poland and his agent confirms ‘Roma are one of the options’ for his future.

The 30-year-old is very versatile, as he can play on the right or left as a full-back or wing-back, but even features as a central defender at times.

He is a key figure for Sampdoria and Poland, so his performances are earning interest from numerous clubs.

“The World Cup games are watched by many big clubs and I think Bartosz saw his name placed in several notebooks,” his agent told Meczyki.

“He is doing very well under the ‘Polish Jose Mourinho’ and could do well with the Portuguese version too.”

When it comes to a potential transfer swoop, the representative admits the Giallorossi already have the upper hand over the competition.

“I cannot deny this is a possibility. Roma are one of the options.”
