Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has refused to rule out Folarin Balogun’s transfer, but according to Sky Sports UK, Inter will need almost €60m to sign the USMNT international.

The Nerazzurri are desperate to sign a new centre forward this summer after deciding against re-signing Romelu Lukaku.

Balogun has emerged as their priority target for the attack and club directors will meet coach Simone Inzaghi today to discuss all the names in their agenda. Beppe Marotta, Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin have already arrived at the Suning Training Centre on Monday.

Italian media claim Arsenal have set their asking price for Balogun at €40m, but according to Sky Sports UK, the Gunners are unwilling to sell the 22-year-old for less than £50, so almost €60m.

The USMNT international has joined his teammates for Arsenal’s pre-season tour in the USA, with Mikel Arteta saying he will ‘see what happens’ regarding the future of the ex-Reims loanee and suggesting that he’d be open to discussing his transfer.
