Multiple sources in Italy claim Folarin Balogun tops Inter‘s shopping list to replace Romelu Lukaku, and a key meeting will take place on Monday involving Simone Inzaghi and the Nerazzurri directors.

The Champions League finalists are keeping a close eye on several potential new signings after deciding to end negotiations with Chelsea for Lukaku.

Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Arsenal’s Balogun is now Inter’s primary target to strengthen the attack in 2023-24.

The USMNT international is valued at €40m by the Gunners and Balogun has been monitored by Inter for a long time, even before the decision to drop Lukaku.

According to Sunday’s printed edition of the pink paper (page 7), Inter directors and Inzaghi will meet on Monday to discuss all the options on the table.

Spezia‘s M’Bala Nzola is also on Inter’s agenda alongside Alvaro Morata, who has already received an offer from Roma, Mehdi Taremi, also linked with a move to Milan and Youssef En-Nesyri’ who has been offered to the Nerazzurri and Juventus.
