According to Sky Sport Italia, Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is Juventus‘ No.1 alternative to PSG’s midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The Argentina international is in talks with the Bianconeri, but according to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations between the two clubs are not progressing the right way.

Paredes has already reached an agreement with the Serie A giants, who are now trying to strike a deal with the Ligue 1 giants.

Juventus want to sign a new central midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window, so they are now considering Douglas Luiz as an alternative to Paredes.

The ex-Empoli and Roma midfielder remains Juventus’ No.1 option and today’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper claimed the 28-year-old would undergo his medical tomorrow, but there are no other sources claiming the same.

Juventus are also working on outgoing players with Nicolò Rovella, Fagioli and Arthur, who could leave on loan.

  1. The 7/9 better hurry up. Paredes is the better option for them as he will understand the back, back, down, down, hexagon, as he is not a mobile player at all. Douglas should stay at Villa. He did not get a look in at City but with patience (Raphina), a bigger club might come calling. He is too young to be ruined by the scholar of prehistoric calcio champagne from the fossil era.
