According to reports in Italy, Everton, Sporting and Lyon have shown interest in Juventus midfielder Arthur, while Weston McKennie and Denis Zakaria can only leave on permanent deals.

The Brazilian midfielder is not in Max Allegri’s plans, so the Bianconeri are trying to offload him this summer.

However, his €5m-a-year salary has made it difficult for the Serie A giants to find suitors for the ex-Barcelona star who has struggled with playing time under Allegri.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sporting and Lyon are interested in getting the player on loan until the end of the season. Tuttosport confirms the interest from the Portuguese giants and adds Everton to the list of suitors for Arthur.

TMW confirms Juventus are negotiating with Everton and Sporting, while Sky Sport Italia claims English, Portuguese and French clubs are interested in the 26-year-old who has failed to justify his €76m price tag at the Allianz Stadium.

It’s hard to imagine a permanent sale for Juventus, who do not want to register a capital loss by selling Arthur permanently.

On the other hand, Gazzetta reports that the club is open to listening to offers for Weston McKennie and Denis Zakaria but would only sell the pair on a permanent deal that would allow the Serie A giants to make a capital gain given that the USMNT international and the Swiss midfielder joined the Old Lady for relatively low fees.

  1. The 7/9 at their finest. So the plan is to sell Zakaria, keep Zidane (Rabiot), Roberto Carlos (Sandro), Cafu (Danilo) and soon extend the Hexagon’s contract. CL success is so close.

  2. Rob, the only cure for him is for Allegri to return his calls. Unrequited love harms the soul.

  3. Keep Zakaria, Sell Mckennie and Arthur. It’s simple as that. @ Fatecisognare don’t waste your time replying to that clown. Its not worth it. Only Allegri can give him the attention he needs.

  4. @white rabbit he is not smoking crack like you. Arthur and McKennie are not going anywhere soon as the market window is nearly closed.
