An image of Juventus‘ build-up play against Sampdoria has gone viral and partially explains the Old Lady’s lack of goal threat at Marassi.

Max Allegri is once again under fire following a disappointing 0-0 draw against the Blucerchiati on Monday night.

Italian media have criticised the Bianconeri and most fans on Twitter seem to be fed up with Allegri’s playing style, which didn’t bring any trophy to Turin last season.

CBS Sports commentator Matteo Bonetti posted an image of Juventus’ build-up at Marassi in the first half last night and the tweet went viral in a few hours.

Comments below the post highlight the unhappiness of some Juventus fans who saw their star striker Dusan Vlahovic struggle throughout the game. The 22-year-old only had nine touches and no shots on target at Marassi.

“We did not do well in the first half, but Dusan played better in the second and he just needs to be a bit calmer when the ball reaches him,” Allegri told DAZN after the game.

“We occupied the penalty area better after the break too, but we certainly need to work to do better.”

The Bianconeri have collected four points in the opening two Serie A games and will host Roma a the Allianz Stadium on Saturday.

Anyone who mocks PhD Max and the Emperor of 1600BC Calcio Champagne should keep quiet. After all Medieval Max is a 6 time Scudetto winner. Once thanks to Ibra and Silva as well as 5 other times having no competition and nearly blowing it three times. The commander of reverse Feng Shui is also a 2 time CL winner and first coach to make Dusan take 3 touches as an offensive defender.

  3. PhD Max will be scrambling. The secrets of the zodiac back, back, down, down have been exposed. Conte, Klopp, Tuchel, Pep and ten Hag will all be copying the secrets to operation 11-0-0, bridge to nowhere created by the one and only PhD Max.

  4. Long-ball tactic! Interesting… I wonder if this will eventually work with a proper target man. C’mon, Nedved! Give Allegri the toys he wants! And let’s see if he can shut up all these armchair experts in the end of this season. 💪💪💪
