Nine Serie A players have received a one-match ban after Week 28.

They are Jeison Murillo (Sampdoria), Lorenzo Tonelli (Empoli), Roberto Pereyra (Udinese), Sofyan Amrabat (Fiorentina), Alexis Blin (Lecce), Gianluca Caprari (Monza), Fabio Depaoli (Hellas Verona), Moise Kean (Juventus) and Rafael Toloi (Atalanta).

They have all received a one-match ban after the latest Serie A round, meaning they will not be available for next weekend’s fixtures.

Murillo and Tonelli received red cards against Roma and Lecce respectively, while the other seven received their fifth yellow card this season.

Juventus and Italy forward Kean had just returned after a two-match ban. The former Everton striker is available for tonight’s Coppa Italia game with Inter but is expected to start on the bench.

Sporting Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea also fined Roma €8.000 after the Giallorossi fans in Curva Sud targeted Sampdoria coach Dejan Stankovic with racist chants.

However, the sanction was mitigated thanks to José Mourinho, who urged the Giallorossi supporters to stop their chants against the former Inter and Lazio player.
