Sebastian Lopez, the agent of Racing Club talent Carlos Alcaraz, confirmed the interest of Milan and Inter.
The 19-year-old Argentinian midfielder is one of the most exciting players in the Racing Club squad, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in 42 appearances across all competitions this season. Contracted to the Argentinian outfit until 2026, Alcaraz looks to be one of the brightest talents keen to make the jump to Europe.
Speaking to FcInterNews, Lopez first confirmed the interest from Serie A.
“I spoke to both Inter and Milan in the summer.”
He touched on how much Racing Club would want for his signature.
“Several offers arrived in the last window, but none of them were accepted. The valuation is €15m, which could perhaps be discounted to €12m. Or a little less, but with a percentage on future resale.”
Finally, Lopez confirmed that he was open to further talks with Milan and Inter.
“If Inter and Milan call, I’d happy to discuss things with them.”
The 19-year-old Alcaraz is a physically imposing and intelligent midfielder, being good with the ball at his feet and comfortable progressing play up the pitch. Standing at 1.83m tall, the Argentinian teenager is good in the air and is no stranger to defensive work, making him a well rounded option in the middle of the pitch.
