According to multiple reports in Italy, Julian Alvarez’s agent Fernando Hidalgo has landed in Italy to meet Inter and Milan.

The River Plate starlet is one of the most exciting prospects in Argentina, having scored 18 goals in 21 league games last term.

The 21-year-old sees his current deal expire at the end of the year (December 30, 2022) and many of Europe’s top clubs have been linked with securing his services, including Juventus, Inter and Milan. Fiorentina are also monitoring the 21-year-old.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, Hidalgo, the former agent of Hernan Crespo and ex Inter and Milan striker, has landed in Italy to meet the Milanese sides.

Inter director Dario Baccin personally scouted the striker in Argentina at the end of 2021 and has been in contact with the player’s agent for a long time.

Alvarez has a €20m release clause included in his contract and his agent will likely fly to London and Madrid in the coming days to meet both United and Atletico.

  1. Hopefully a better welding and performing Alvarez than Ricky – still a sad story of lost potential.
