The meeting between Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé is the main talking point of the last day of the group stage of Euro 2020, but there are three more games scheduled for today.

Spain need a win against Slovakia to book their place in the round of 16. The two sides meet at Seville’s Stadio de la Cartuja at 5 pm UK, the same time as Sweden vs. Poland.

The Scandinavians are the group E leaders with four points in two games, while Robert Lewandowski’s side have managed just one.

Portugal vs. France and Germany vs. Hungary are scheduled at 8 pm UK time.

Two much-awaited games for different reasons.

On the one hand, the meeting between Ronaldo and Mbappé at the Ferenc Puskas Arena, on the other hand, the Allianz Arena clash that takes place amid controversy linked with LGBTQ+ rights.

UEFA declined the request from the Munich city council to illuminate the stadium in rainbow colours for tonight’s match.

Such a request followed the Hungarian’s parliament decision to ban gay people from featuring in school educational materials or TV shows for under-18s and UEFA turned it down considering its ‘political context.’

Juventus and Milan coloured their logos in rainbow on social media to show their support to the LGBTQ+ community.
