Radu Dragusin is crucial to Juventus snapping up Manuel Locatelli from Sassuolo, but the Romanian’s agent warns the teenager ‘doesn’t want to leave.’

Multiple sources including Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia are confident a meeting today set the scene for the transfer, which will be worth €30-32m plus Dragusin.

It’s expected to be a one or even two-year loan deal with obligation to buy, allowing Juve to stretch out the cost of the operation.

However, Dragusin might not be so co-operative with the Bianconeri.

“He wants to stay at Juventus, he does not want to leave,” agent Florin Manea told Calciomercato.it.

“There have been offers from England and Germany, but he wants to play for Juventus. If you do your best, I believe that in the end you will get to play for Juve.

“Nobody called us with regards to Locatelli. I sent a message to Juve directors today and they told me there’s nothing in it.

“If Dragusin does leave, it will just be on loan to get more playing time, but he wants to remain a Juventus player.”

The representative warned that he might not necessarily accept a switch to Sassuolo.

“If Juve tell him to leave, we’ll find a solution, but it’s not just Sassuolo who want him. I have to think of what is best for the player.”
