According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nicolò Zaniolo’s agent is ready to fly to London next week, but a clause is blocking the Italy international’s transfer to Tottenham.

Zaniolo wants to leave Roma in January and hasn’t been called up for today’s away match at Spezia.

According to Gazzetta, the striker’s agent Claudio Vigorelli is ready to fly to London, but the two clubs haven’t yet reached an agreement over the player’s transfer.

Roma value Zaniolo at €30-40m and seek a permanent transfer for the Italy international. They could consider a loan with an obligation to buy, but Tottenham director Fabio Paratici hasn’t agreed to those terms.

Spurs are ready to offer a transfer package worth €30m, but Zaniolo’s permanent transfer to North London in the summer would depend on their Champions League qualification this season.

Roma have rejected Tottenham’s offer but may accept to sell the player on loan with an obligation to buy linked to targets easier to be reached.
