Gerard Deulofeu is an option for Roma to replace Nicolò Zaniolo, but according to Sky Sport Italia, the Giallorossi have also opened talks with Hakim Ziyech’s agent.
Zaniolo wants to leave Roma and has not been called up for today’s Serie A match against Spezia.
Roma are in talks with Tottenham but haven’t yet reached an agreement to sell the Italy international. In the meantime, they are sounding out potential replacements for the ex-Inter and Fiorentina forward.
According to Repubblica, Udinese‘s Deulofeu is one of the options for the Giallorossi. The Spanish striker starts on the bench against Sampdoria today and has also been linked with a move to Aston Villa.
As per Sky Sport Italia, the Giallorossi have also opened talks with Ziyech’s agent. The Morocco international is on his way out of Stamford Bridge but earns €6.5m per season.
Ziyech was linked with a move to Milan last summer and after the World Cup, but his salary is unaffordable for the Rossoneri and could also be an obstacle for Roma.
