Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Juventus and the Bianconeri are open to selling him for €29m, but where could CR7 end up?

Ronaldo starts on the bench against Udinese and according to Sky Sport Italia, that’s a precise request from the Portuguese star who still hopes to leave the Bianconeri in the summer.

It’s the first time Ronaldo starts two games in a row on the bench since he’s joined Juventus as he was omitted from the starting XI against Bologna in the last game of the last campaign.

The Portuguese ace joined the Bianconeri for  €112m in 2018 and the Serie A giants are open to selling him for €29m this summer.

That’s the minimum fee Juventus need to cash in to avoid capital loss. Ronaldo is on a €31m-a-year deal at the Allianz Stadium.

Juventus’ vice president Pavel Nedved has denied that Ronaldo wants to leave the Bianconeri and has insisted Massimiliano Allegri’s decision has nothing to do with transfers and the player’s desire to leave.

Udinese 2-2 Juventus: Old Lady throw points away

There have been many rumours regarding the future of Ronaldo, who has scored 101 goals in 133 games with the Bianconeri.

PSG and Manchester City seem the only clubs that can afford the former Real Madrid man. However, according to multiple reports over the last few weeks, PSG are not interested in welcoming Ronaldo this summer but could sign him in one year, when his contract with Juventus expires.

Il Corriere dello Sport has reported that Jorge Mendes has offered Ronaldo to Manchester City, although Pep Guardiola’s side have not yet made an official bid to sign Ronaldo.

As per Sportitalia, Tottenham are interested in securing his services with Fabio Paratici, who would sign Ronaldo for the second time in three years, but it remains to be seen whether CR7 would accept not to play Champions League football this season.

As of today, the Old Lady has not received any formal offer for their star.

  1. Time for him to go. I’m grateful for his goals over the years and to have seen one the game’s best in the Juve shirt. But Covid has ruined the planned Ronaldo project and now he’s disruptive and too expensive.
