Juventus’ loss to Milan on the weekend was emblematic of their crippling malaise but despite the issues the club’s management are continuing to place their trust in Massimiliano Allegri.

The Bianconeri were left scratching their heads in San Siro on Saturday as an injury-struck Rossoneri cruised to a comfortable 2-0 win, a result that hardly looked in doubt considering the lack of ideas on display from the Bianconeri squad. It was another frustrating loss to Juventus, their fourth in 12 games across all competitions, and pressure is growing on their head coach.

As highlighted by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus’ management still believe that Allegri can right the ship in Turin and do not put all the blame on him following their poor start. More frustrating for the management is the poor attitude shown by some of the players, both in training sessions and on the pitch, something that was visible in their loss to Milan.

Juventus brought back Allegri to restore order and discipline, believing Andrea Pirlo’s style was too soft, and the Italian coach is struggling to give the players the spark needed to return their winning spirit.

The club’s management are frustrated at the lack of reactions from the players after conceding and their drops in focus throughout the game. The Bianconeri have now left for their Champions League clash against Maccabi Haifa but when they’ll return there’s a chance that they could enter a training retreat, something that Allegri and the club hope will give the players a key wakeup call.

The other important aspect is Allegri’s contract with Juventus; the Italian coach signed a four-year deal worth €7m net per season plus add-ons and it would be expensive to dismiss him and bring in an adequate replacement, so the club’s management are remaining patient, for now.

  1. PhD Max, the Lamborghini and king of coaches is a shrewd operator. The legend of Tai Chi calcio brought to you in slow motion pictures is wise. He baited the 7/9 into a long term deal, got the money and even if he were to depart its retirement money in the bag. No big club will ever hire him and he knows his bread is buttered. All the more remarkable considering he is rocking up to all games in his horse and carriage with 4 dodgy wheels and donkeys Danilo and Roberto Carlos as the drivers.

  2. The plastic above supports a 44% league loss shaolin handball team. His club’s manager is a disaster but he never likes to talk about it instead he prefers to comment on another club’s news.

  3. But ^ Inter are still ahead, lost more games and Inzaghi is only there due to Allegri being worse. I don’t think Lord is an Inter fan either as he is never on their page.

  4. @May 5th cut out your racist BS. What has his nationality got to do with anything? Football is a global sport and opinions are welcomed from any part of the world. Educate yourself first and foremost.

  5. if allegri goes then he squirm and make sure some of the board will have to go, which everyone from board to manager are keeping it tight

  6. Lars Anderssen @ thanks you nailed it people like you we make world a better place. racist shouldn’t be allow.

  7. I agree with Lars ,being a footbal club patriotic does not have to do with nationality. Why are interista here commentating?
