Empoli are one of the seven clubs in Europe’s top five leagues, including Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester City, to have found the net with three different players born in 2000 or later.

The Tuscans host José Mourinho’s Roma at the Stadio Castellani in the last game of Serie A Matchday 6.

Known as one of the best youth sectors in Italy, Empoli have found the net with three different players born from 2000 this season: Tommaso Baldanzi, Fabiano Parisi and Martin Satriano.

As reported by Opta, they are the only Italian team to have reached this milestone, joined by Arsenal, Barcelona, Lille, Manchester City, Reims and Villarreal in Europe’s top five leagues.

Baldanzi is injured, so he won’t play against Roa tonight, while Parisi and Satriano are expected to start. The Argentinean striker is on loan at Empoli from Inter.

Paolo Zanetti’s side collected four successive draws, while Roma lost the last two away games across all competitions (against Ludogorets and Udinese) and have won just two of their last seven games away from the Olimpico in Serie A.
