Mike Maignan pulled off a stunning save in the dying minutes of the match to secure France’s Euro 2024 qualifier win over Ireland.

The 27-year-old Milan goalkeeper has replaced Hugo Lloris as the new number one for Les Bleus and is immediately showing why he’s a safe pair of hands, something Rossoneri fans have known for a little while now.

Maignan missed a large part of this season with a calf muscle injury but has now recovered and already looks to be reaching his best once again.

France picked up a 1-0 win over Ireland in their Euro 2024 qualifier, in part thanks to Maignan’s incredible save in the 90th minute.
