Juventus have been in contact with Dusan Vlahovic and his agent to start exploring a new contract and an offer is expected to arrive in the coming weeks, reports detail.

The 23-year-old Serbian forward was heavily linked with a move away from the Bianconeri in the summer transfer window, attracting the attention of various clubs like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, but he ultimately remained in Turin as Juventus set a hefty price tag.

Vlahovic has started the new season well, scoring four goals in Juventus’ first six matches, but he’s missed the last two games due to a back injury. He is hoping to return after the international break for the clash with Milan.

Page 17 of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Juventus met Vlahovic’s agent Darko Ristic at the end of August to start exploring a possible contract renewal for the striker. The parties agreed to meet before the end of the year to discuss the details.

The Serbian striker is now waiting for their offer, which is expected to arrive in the coming weeks. The idea is to extend his stay to 2027 or 2028 and adjust his salary, which is currently €7m net per season and will increase to up to €12.5m by his last season in 2026.

Juventus are trying to draw up a formula that allows them to lighten the wage bill without asking the striker to reduce the fixed part of his salary. His bonuses could be lowered or changed to personal objectives.
