Dusan Vlahovic underlined his determination to satisfy the Juventus fans following their painful Coppa Italia final defeat to Inter yesterday.

The 22-year-old Serbian forward scored to give the Bianconeri a 2-1 lead in the final against their rivals, but it was not enough to secure victory as two penalties and a late Ivan Perisic strike guaranteed the Nerazzurri’s victory. Vlahovic was one of the most regretful at the full time whistle, frustrated he couldn’t overturn the result.

Writing on his Instagram page today, Vlahovic highlighted his desire and determination to impress the Juventus faithful.

“Matches like these hurt. But if I’ve learned one thing, it’s that I’m ready to go down to hell with you if it will bring you back to paradise.”

The 22-year-old Vlahovic, who joined the Old Lady in an €80m move from Fiorentina back in January, has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 19 appearances for Juventus.

It’s clear that he’s struggling to show his best under Massimiliano Allegri, but fans are hoping that some additions in the summer will provide him with a little more support.

  1. Referees are human and do mistakes. That’s not really nice in football but it happens… what i hate is referees with double standards; if both Inter penalties are penalties, then Vlahovic should’ve been a penalty too.

    And Brozovic kicking the ball?!?!?

  2. Inter have had 5 penalties against Juve this season – two of themdubious, and Juve was not awarded two clear ones – therein lies the difference.

  3. People saying he’s flopped at Juve are either agenda driven, bitter, or as dumb as a floor tile.

Vlahovic is not the problem at Juve at all. They have multiple things to sort out before they get the best out of him. His is top striker.

  4. Man, he’s such a hypocrite, what about claiming eternal love to Firenze just last summer?
Anyway, godspeed on his journey down.

  5. Daniele m. >>> There was successful dive and a very clever and dishonest one by Lautaro Martinez. The VAR should have seen it and given him a yellow card, but the referee didnt care

  6. What does he mean by “hell”? Losing a cup final, playing with Rabiot and Bernardeschi, or having Alegri as coach?
