José Mourinho was visibly sad while leaving Trigoria for the last time, but he was surrounded by Giallorossi fans who told him: ‘We love you.’
Roma owner Dan Friedkin informed Mourinho that the club had decided to sack him on Tuesday morning.
He had travelled from the USA to the capital of Italy to inform the Portuguese coach and players who arrived at Trigoria for a morning training session and didn’t expect such a sudden decision from the club.
Corriere dello Sport journalist Jacopo Aliprandi was outside Trigoria this morning and showed Mourinho leaving the Giallorossi training ground for the last time.
