Tammy Abraham posted an inspiring video and message after his return to action from a cruciate ligament injury: “Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional.”
The England international made his season debut on Saturday in Roma‘s 1-0 win over Lazio in the Derby della Capitale.
Abraham, a former Chelsea striker, had remained on the sidelines for ten months due to a severe knee injury suffered in the final round of the 2022-23 campaign against Spezia at the Stadio Olimpico.
After 307 days, Abraham returned to action in the same stadium. Two days later, on Monday, April 8, he shared an inspiring video on his official X account.
