Franck Kessié was left furious by a late disallowed goal in Milan vs. Napoli and didn’t seem convinced about the referee’s decision even after being shown the incident on a mobile phone on the pitch.

The Ivorian star had scored the equaliser against the Partenopei in the stoppages of the Rossoneri’s Serie A clash against Napoli at San Siro on Sunday.

Analysis: Why was Milan’s goal against Napoli disallowed?

However, the goal was disallowed after a VAR check, leaving Kessié and his Milan teammates fuming.

Olivier Giroud was considered an active offside position, so Kessié’s goal was ruled out.

The 24-year-old showed his disappointment after the on-field review and could not leave the field at the end of the match without seeing the incident.

A Milan staff member showed him the disallowed goal from his own mobile with Kessié still not convinced about the referee’s decision.

  1. Oh idk, maybe bc it was against those grimy southerners we should just allow an illegal goal to stand, sounds good Italian pundits? Amazing how backwards Italians have become.

  2. @viktor,
Go to “Full Match Highlights and Shows, and check for yourself; Giroux was not only off-side, but he brought juan jusus down with a Greco-Roman wrestling “High amplitude take down”, which any referee would have given as a blatant fall, and a possible yellow card for mistaking football for WRESTLING.
