Victor Osimhen congratulated his teammates on social media after Napoli‘s win over Milan last night.
The Nigerian striker was one of the players unavailable for the Partenopei, along with Fabian Ruiz, Kalidou Koulibaly, Lorenzo Insigne and Mario Rui.
He had sustained a cheekbone injury during Napoli’s last trip to Milan in November when the Partenopei suffered a 3-2 loss against Inter.
The 22-year-old congratulated his teammates on social media after their win over Milan, which saw them join the Rossoneri in second place, four points off leaders Inter.
Osimhen underwent surgery in November and has been ruled out for three months but could return to the pitch earlier thanks to a protective mask.
