Juventus-owned Dejan Kulusevski continues to thrive under Antonio Conte at Tottenham, providing more assists than any other Premier League player in 2022.

The Sweden international burst down the right and put in a cross for Heung-Son Min to score in a dominant display against Newcastle United this evening.

It was his fifth assist of 2022, more than any other player in the Premier League during that period.

The 21-year-old has also scored two goals in the Premier League for Spurs since the January transfer.

Kulusevski is still owned by Juventus, as he moved on an 18-month loan for €10m with option to buy, becoming an obligation if certain conditions are met, for a further €35m plus bonuses.

The Bianconeri made a profit on Kulusevski, who they had picked up for €35m from Atalanta in January 2020.

  1. Good move for him playing at a higher tempo, better league, more competition and with a much better coach. With PhD Max it was always going to be a train wreck. Even Chiesa’s performances were under par but that is due to PhD Max.

  2. Hopefully Chiesa, Locatelli, Vlahovic, and de Ligt are watching. Leaving Juve and that farmers league would do wonders for their careers. Hopefully they will request a transfer before it’s too late.

  3. Allegri will be blamed for his form lol.

And there’s a lot of truth to it. It looks like Allegri is happy enough to just scrape a 1 – 0 or a 0 – 0 every week, and it could be a worry in the long term with Vlahovic, because he could be great if he gets service, or ruined if he doesn’t.

But will he ever get enough under Allegri?
