Dries Mertens and Jorginho have been reunited during their holidays, sparking nostalgia among Napoli fans.
The duo spent four seasons together at Napoli, winning one Coppa Italia and one Italian Super Cup.
Jorginho, a European champion with both Italy and Chelsea, posted a video with his former teammate from the beach, looking excited while shouting: “I am here with Ciro, I love this guy.”
Ciro is the most common name in Naples and the nickname Napoli fans use to call Mertens, given his close bond with the city and the club.
Mertens underwent a shoulder injury after the Euros, so he has a plaster on his right shoulder.
The video of their reunion was posted by Jorginho on his Instagram stories and shared by many Napoli fans on social media.
