Hakan Calhanoglu continues to cause controversy as he shared a new video of his celebration against Milan, writing: ‘I M Hakan, I M Inter.’

The Turkey international made headlines with a controversial celebration in the derby della Madonnina last night.

He earned and converted a spot-kick and celebrated by putting his hands back to the ears while staring at Milan’s Curva Sud.

Video: how Florenzi reacted to Calhanoglu’s celebration against Milan

Alessandro Florenzi didn’t take it very well and stepped inside the pitch to confront the former Milan star.

Calhanoglu’s celebration has caused debate among fans and tv pundits in Italy, with former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi who accused the Turkish star of being disrespectful.

As if the celebration itself wasn’t enough, Calhanoglu taunted Milan fans again with a new video on social media.

He once again shared his goal and celebration, adding a message: ‘I M Hakan, I M Inter.’

  1. I didn’t know there is so much bad blood between him and Milan. I’m an Inter fan and I don’t like this kind of manner from an Inter player even against Juve let alone Milan which I treat them just a rival in Serie A but I support them in European competitions. However, I’m wondering what happened between these two so bad that probably public are not aware of it? Also I remember Milan’s managers/directors didn’t speak ill about him when he left. At this stage I’m pretty convinced there is a story that I don’t know about, any idea?

  2. Good for him we are doing much better without his nonsense. The so called set piece master never did anything great for us and good riddance. At least Vidal showed class when he scored against Juventus last year and was a great midfielder a few years ago. I would like to see the look on his face if we won the title straight after him leaving.

  3. I doubt it’s really as much as is being made out. It’s a stretch to call that a “taunt”. Maybe fans boo him so he feels he needs to get one back on them. I don’t think there’s more to it than that. I do think celebrating against the team you just left is a bit disrespectful, but then again I’m sure he was very happy to have scored and it wasn’t some crazy celebration, I can’t say I’m that bothered as a Milan fan. Not to mention I’m happy he’s gone, so what he does bothers me even less.

  4. This is football guys!!! if you cannot take a simple celebration gesture after a goal then you better switch sports.

These types of celebrations happen in Baseball after a home run, happen in Formula One after a race is over, happen in Boxing after a knockout and while your opponent is still on the ground, and even in Golf I’ve seen fist pumps and shouts for Christ sake.

So don’t come whining now because a player who is being booed by a stadium celebrates after a goal.

Much worst to criticize as a Milan fan when you started the bullying! So shhhhh

  5. lol

I’d say let this guy have his moment. In his mind, this is probably the best thing that’s ever gonna happen to this very average player in his average career.

Acting like he’s Lionel Messi or something LMAO

  6. End of the day he fouled Kessie first, making contact with him, and kessie’s fall got tangled with him bringing him down. So wasn’t a penalty. End of the day we’re 7 pts clear of him. So Milan had the last laugh

  7. I’m a Milan fan. I was surprised of him playing as number 10 for Milan till last year and he did help the team in many matches.
When a player leaves his team, joins the rivals and preforms an act like that, one of these might have happened:
    1. There has been an issue between him and Milan nobody knows about it
    2. He has been offered a nice amount of reward for doing an act like that
    3. Stupidity and lack of policy… which proves one thing that this player can do the same against his current team later in his career… A type of player No Team Can Trust.

There have been Legends like Maldini, Del Piero, Zanetti, Totti
and there are mid-range players like Hakan.

    Cheers

  8. Calhanonsense! The so called set piece master spent about 4 years In Milan and can’t pin point any remarkable achievement from him. I give him just three years. He will soon be a forgotten man. He made no history in Milan and he can never be in Hall of Fame in INTER. At the end of his career, he will end up achieving nothing . This is when it will be dawn on him the enormity of the mistakes he made. A ZOMBIE player who cannot beat his man One on One

  9. Biggest Fool of All.

How come he feels that good, yet couldn’t have the “10” jersey number at Inter?

Yet he class himself with the “10” obsession tattooed on his arm. Lol

Bro, you aren’t CR7 or Romelu, so humble yourself. Just one penalty and you cry… Wow!

  10. Stew, congratulations on winning the November Scudetto. You can add it to last season’s Campioni d’inverno title

  11. Just a reminder to to clueless Milanisti, without Hakan’s 9 league assists last season they would be playing EL football again this season not CL
