Alessandro Florenzi wasn’t impressed by Hakan Calhanoglu’s celebration in the Milan derby and stepped inside the pitch to confront the former Rossoneri star.
Calhanoglu converted a spot-kick and celebrated by putting his hands back to the ears while staring at Milan’s Curva Sud.
The Turkey international left the Rossoneri at the end of his contract last summer, signing with Inter as a free agent.
‘It was disrespectful’ | Calhanoglu’s celebration causes debate
Milan fans booed him from start to finish, but Calhanoglu didn’t seem to be concerned.
However, his former supporters were not the only ones unhappy with his goal celebration.
As you can see in a video shared on social media, Florenzi entered the pitch to confront the 27-year-old, but the duo didn’t come into contact.
Florenzi and Calhanoglu didn’t play together at Milan as the former Roma defender joined the Rossoneri after the Euros when the Turkey international had already left the club.

Calabria should have slapped the snake 🐍 after the game
Well I think any half-decent human would see it as it is, a disrespectful act. Florenzi has been around for some time and is old school, so of course he took issue.
He ran back to his mates as fast as he could the moment he saw Florenzi lol
