Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal has hit out repeatedly at critics on social media and adds a defiant message: ‘Winners do what losers cannot.’

The Chile international came off the bench in last night’s 0-0 Coppa Italia semi-final draw with Milan at San Siro.

He received a barrage of criticism and outright insults on social media, many of them from Inter supporters who want him out of the club.

It’s hardly the first time and Vidal rarely holds back when confronted by these critics.

“Mamma mia! If they had won what I’ve won…” replied the former Juventus and Barcelona player.

“This bunch of s***s haven’t even been to the stadium and they talk here. They are such clowns!”

In another post, Vidal posted a picture of himself training with Inter with this message.

“Winners do what losers cannot.”

There have been reports Vidal could reunite with coach Antonio Conte yet again at Tottenham Hotspur, as it was the tactician who drafted him in at Juventus and then Inter.

Vidal turns 35 in May and his contract with Inter is due to expire in June, although there is an option to extend for one more season.
