Robin van Persie assured he is “only on vacation” in Rome after reports of a move to Lazio intensified.
The Dutch forward was spotted at the Fiumicino Airport this morning, then pictured having lunch in the city centre.
This fuelled existing rumours of talks with Lazio, who finished third in the Serie A table.
“I am only here on vacation,” RVP told reporters outside his hotel.

There have been numerous stories linking Van Persie with a move away from Manchester United.
Juventus and Roma were also thought to be interested in the 31-year-old, but Lazio President Claudio Lotito denied any negotiations.
