“Definitely, I’d like to end here,” Valero said in a Press conference ahead of tomorrow’s Europa League tie with PAOK.

“I have a contract until 2019 and I definitely intend to finish it here. I don’t feel irreplaceable for anyone, but I’m happy this city has always showed me a lot of affection.”

For the past two seasons, Fiorentina have faced Tottenham in the knockout rounds of this competition.

Two years ago they knocked the English side out, but Paulo Sousa’s side were eliminated last season: would a deciding third meeting be appealing?

“No, I wouldn’t like that, I’d like to face other teams. It’s important for us to win tomorrow, because it would be a great achievement to qualify with a game to spare.

“PAOK are the strongest team in the group after ourselves. We hope to play well, but we’ll definitely have to be careful because they caused us problems in the first leg.”
