Milan have extended their lead over third-placed Juventus and the races for European placements and survival remain wide open.

Serie A Round of 30 started on Saturday with five matches. Title holders Napoli lost 3-0 at home to Atalanta and slipped nine points below 4th-placed Bologna who have a game in hand.

Torino, on the other hand, are just two points below a Conference League spot following a 1-0 win over Monza thanks to a penalty converted by Antonio Sanabria.

Frosinone earned a vital point in the race for survival, securing a 1-1 away draw at Genoa. Albert Gudmundsson got his name on the scoresheet at Marassi, netting his 11th goal in 28 matches for the Grifone this season. The Iceland international is Serie A’s fifth-highest goal scorer alongside Teun Koopmeiners, who also found the net in Atalanta’s win over Napoli.

Juventus’ poor run of results continued against Lazio where the Biancocelesti secured a 1-0 win on Igor Tudor’s debut. The Old Lady is now six points below second-placed Milan, who beat Fiorentina 2-1 at the Stadio Franchi, and only eight above Roma, who have a game in hand.
