Luis Muriel’s agent has suggested that the attacker will spend next season at Udinese, despite links to Inter and Milan.

The tricky Colombian forward, who turns 21 on Wednesday, has attracted attention this term on loan at Lecce, having netted seven times for the relegation strugglers.

However, where Muriel has been pushed towards the likes of Inter, Milan and Napoli, his agent believes that he won’t be making a big move this summer.

“Do Inter and Milan want him? Today, all of Italy’s top clubs have discovered Muriel’s skill,” declared Mauro Cesarini on Radio Crc.

“The problems with adapting to the League have already been passed by my client.

“All the top clubs may be interested in him, but Udinese have the option to take him back and I think he will mature for another year there.

“Have Napoli come forward for him? I’ve not spoken with them or any other team. I do believe that the player is under observation from the big clubs every Sunday, but I think it is most logical that for another year he will remain with Udinese.

“The Zebrette are good at taking important players who have not yet exploded on to the scene. Muriel can cover any position in attack, but I can see him as a lone striker.

“How much would he cost? Udinese know the market very well…”

Udinese reportedly paid Deportivo Cali €1.5m for the player in 2010.
