Tudor returned to Udinese shortly before the international break, replacing the sacked Davide Nicola, and the Coach believes the Serie A strugglers have what it takes to pick themselves back up.

“We’ve worked well, with a different spirit,” he said at a Press conference.

“Training went well with those who stayed behind. I see them motivated and ready to have a good game tomorrow.

“If lots of fans come then I’ll be happy. I’m optimistic. I see the team in a good way, I see positivity.

“The fans are important, I’m glad that tomorrow they’ll see a team who are eager, a bit more proactive and aggressive but also compact.”

The former Juventus defender also suggested Rodrigo de Paul would be given a new role, having alternated between midfield and attack under Nicola.

“There’s not only that,” he explained.

“We need to not only propose something new but also increase the value of our players.

“Behrami has been training with us, including Samir and Badu. They’re coming back, but D’Alessandro is still out.”
