Genoa condemned Juve to their first Serie A defeat of the season last time out, and Prandelli warned his side against forgetting the task at hand, given the Grifone host Inter next week.

“I want to congratulate the Primavera team and the whole youth set-up for the excellent Viareggio campaign they had, in particular Carlo Sabatini for how he managed all aspects of the tournament and the lads,” began the Coach at his Press conference.

“Reaching the Final is a great result. I also want to remember Emiliano Mondonico, a teacher and a friend, one year after his death. I send a hug to his family.

“Tomorrow will be a direct clash. We want to repeat our performance against Juventus and pick up points.

“Tudor will get Udinese playing in an organised and aggressive way. We’ll be playing in a very challenging atmosphere.

“The international break after the win against Juve didn’t give us the feeling of a full stomach.

“Thinking that we’ll be playing Inter in a few days would be wrong. We’re going game by game.

“Favilli will play at least two games with the Primavera. Pandev is back from his international commitments with a rib problem, but he never gives up.

“The others are fine, even though I haven’t seen Sanabria yet. Kouame is a splendid lad. He’s purposeful, generous and enthusiastic.

“He’s aware of his quality and therefore on the right track.”
