A date has been set for Andrea Angelli’s appeal against his two-year ban as part of the Juventus capital gains case.

The former Bianconeri president was handed the 24-month ban in his first FIGC trial back in January of this year, as part of the case against the club for false accounting and inflated player transfer values.

In his second FIGC trial, Agnelli was banned for a further 16 months as part of the case against Juventus’ so-called salary manoeuvres and relationships with agents. This was later reduced to 10 months on appeal.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Agnelli is appealing against his 24-month ban and his case will be heard at the TAR – Regional Administrative Court – on March 23, 2024. One aspect of the appeal is an assessment of the compatibility of the Italian sporting justice system with European Union regulations.

Agnelli resigned from his position as Juventus president at the end of 2022, bringing an end to his 12-year spell at the helm.
