Kalidou Koulibaly is set to complete a €40m move to Chelsea from Napoli. He arrived in London on Wednesday and will undergo his medical with the Blues today.
The 31-year-old will sign a five-year deal with the Premier League giants worth €10m per season.
Koulibaly was Juventus‘ main target to replace Giorgio Chiellini, so the Old Lady must look elsewhere now. Arsenal’s Gabriel and Torino‘s Gleison Bremer are the first options for the Bianconeri.
Bremer has an agreement with Inter, but the Nerazzurri haven’t yet shaken hands with Torino, so talks between the two clubs are ongoing.
Juventus are also interested in the Brazilian defender and could offer up to €40m once and if Matthijs de Ligt joins Bayern Munich.
Juventus expect a new offer from the Bavarians after rejecting their opening €60m bid.
