Totti upset some Roma fans when he said he would not stand in the way of his boy joining Lazio, despite him following in his father’s footsteps and playing for the Giallorossi’s youth academy.
However, the No 10 has now clarified those remarks and made it clear there was no prospect of Cristian ever representing the Aquile.

“I said if I was acting as an agent and Milan, Lazio or Juve called me, I’d answer,” he told Alessandro Del Piero in an Instagram Live broadcast.
“Cristian is like me, anyway. He’d answer what I’d answer, and that is ‘no’. I’m not so stupid to bring Cristian to Lazio. Do you really think I’d do that?”
