La Liga President Javier Tebas says ‘it’s not true’ that Barcelona are negotiating for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez.
Martinez continues to be linked with a summer switch to Barca, but Inter are holding out for his €111m release clause.
Despite the speculation, Tebas assured Nerazzurri fans the Catalans were not working on a deal.
“It’s not true that Barcelona are negotiating for players. They’re only interested in knowing when we restart,” he explained during the Adea Connecta forum.

“It’s not true that Barcelona are negotiating for players. They’re only interested in knowing when we restart,” he explained during the Adea Connecta forum.
“There will be player trades, but at the moment no-one’s talking about it. I’m waiting to understand when the season will resume.
“Everything’s stopped, Barca aren’t negotiating for Neymar or Lautaro. I was surprised to hear about it. They’re doing none of that.”
It comes after the chief confirmed there would be promotions and regulations in La Liga if the season did not resume.
