Now La Repubblica is reporting that the Lupi will finally have a shirt sponsor too, thanks to Francesco Totti.
The club legend retired at the end of last season, and is currently working as a director for the capital club.
The newspaper reports that a Turkish airline was enticed by the idea of Er Pupone starring in a promotional video, and are prepared to pay €7-8m to sponsor the shirts.
While an agreement has not yet been signed, it’s thought a deal is very close and Roma hope to start the sponsorship before the Last 16 of the Champions League begins.
