Tottenham Hotspur, Lazio, Inter and Juventus transfer target Destiny Udogie is not even on the bench for Udinese’s first game of the season, the Coppa Italia tie against Feralpisalò.

The 19-year-old left wing-back has an asking price of circa €25m and the Friulani would want him left with them on loan for the rest of the season in order to aid his development.

Question marks over his future are only growing with news he is not even on the bench for this evening’s opening fixture of the campaign, the Coppa Italia First Round tie against Serie C side Feralpisalò.

New coach Andrea Sottil picked a line-up with Adam Masina on the left at the Dacia Arena this evening, who just completed his €5m transfer from Watford.

Udinese purchased Udogie for €4m this summer after his loan from Hellas Verona, but owe the club a cut of his future sale fee as part of that deal.

Born in Italy to Nigerian parents, he has four caps for the Azzurrini at Under-21 level.
