Juventus defender Dean Huijsen is currently on loan at Roma, but Tottenham Hotspur have now joined Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig in the race.

The centre-back is only 18 years old and was promoted from the youth team to the senior squad for a few Serie A appearances before his loan to Roma in January.

He impressed even more at the Stadio Olimpico, even scoring his first goal, and there are reports Roma will try to negotiate an extension of the loan for next season too.

Considering his age and the degree to which his value on the transfer market has already levitated in a few short months, that might be a good option for Juve and the player to help his development.

Meanwhile, after reports that Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig were interested in the Dutchman, now Tuttojuve and TeamTalk insist that Tottenham are in the running for Huijsen too.

Spurs already showed they are happy to invest huge sums in Juventus cast-offs, having paid €50m for Cristian Romero when he was sold to Atalanta for just €17m.

La Gazzetta dello Sport argues that Juve are not ready to sell Huijsen yet and hope his value will further increase, or even aim to bring him back to base as the core of the new defence.
