Felipe Anderson remains a target for Juventus as a free agent, but there are new reports that he is considering a contract extension at Lazio.

The Brazilian had seemed to be on his way out when talks to sign a new deal at the Stadio Olimpico ground to a halt.

His current contract is due to expire on June 30 and he could already start to agree terms with his next club at this stage.

Juve were the hot favourites, but the situation is still in flux, as LaLazioSiamoNoi.it and Tuttomercatoweb claim that Felipe Anderson is now ready to open up the door again to discuss a possible extension at Lazio and negotiations have resumed.

He will turn 31 in April and this is his second experience at Lazio, having already played for the Biancocelesti from 2013 to 2018.

Following spells at West Ham United and FC Porto, he returned in the summer of 2021 and helped the team secure second place in Serie A last season.

So far this term, it has been a more frustrating set of performances, contributing only two goals and seven assists in 31 competitive games.
