Tuttosport claim that Juventus face competition from Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Roma talent Nicolò Zaniolo.

The versatile Italy international is under contract until June 2024, but attempts to negotiate a renewal have hit problems.

The arrival of Paulo Dybala as a free agent also makes it more likely that Zaniolo could be sacrificed.

Juve have been the favourites for several months, especially as there are suggestions he supported the Bianconeri as a child.

However, the Old Lady need to sell before managing the €50m asking price set by Roma.

According to Tuttosport, Max Allegri will have to fight off Antonio Conte, because Tottenham and former Juventus director Fabio Paratici are also targeting Zaniolo this summer and made contact over the last few days.

He can play in midfield, on the wing, as a support striker or even a centre-forward and the 23-year-old has now recovered after two devastating knee ligament injuries.

Juve are hoping that Roma will accept a loan with obligation to buy, therefore spreading out the cost of the operation in the same way they negotiated for Federico Chiesa and Manuel Locatelli.

  1. Hojberg and 30 mill or Zakaria and 33 mill( 16.5 mill/2 yrs) or hang on to Zaniolo. Lots of dead weight to drop so hurry it on up. Coric,Veretout,Villar and either one of Kluivert, Perez or ELS…(thats another 25-30 mill) Forza Roma Sempre!

  2. That is right you leave those kind of comments for me and not for Simy, who can barely read, write and make my coffee properly. Now CALMAAA!!! In life things can go three ways. 1. He stays at Roma and continues his growth path. 2. He goes to the PL and learns from Conte how to fight with grit. Third option is the trap door. Go with Da Vinci Code Max and he will learn nothing other than the back, back, down, down please help fill the Chiellini void lol.

  3. Shh, it’s happening this window, however, Inter has a percentage on the resale, so Juve is waiting till the end of the market to not give Inter any additional funds for their window.
