The Granata did great business over the summer, beating competition from Milan and Fiorentina to sign Italy Under-21 international Benassi from Inter.
He has since scored one Serie A goal in 11 games and impressed with his performances, so much that other clubs are lining up.

The Granata did great business over the summer, beating competition from Milan and Fiorentina to sign Italy Under-21 international Benassi from Inter.
He has since scored one Serie A goal in 11 games and impressed with his performances, so much that other clubs are lining up.
“It’s true, I bought him from Inter for €3.2m after securing the first half of his contract during the Danilo D’Ambrosio deal,” director of sport Petrachi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Now I have already turned down an €8m offer, because we will not sell.”
Toro have become a breeding ground for young talents who then move on for huge profits.
“Once we sold Ciro Immobile and Alessio Cerci, the club owners decided to invest, so we were able to choose between experienced players and quality youngsters.
“In Serie A now many sides pay their wages every three months, but we are always on time at the end of each month. The balance sheet is also the effect of smart planning over time. If we have a revenue of €60m, the wages cannot total more than €30m.”
There are other star names attracting interest from elsewhere, including Roma target Bruno Peres.
“I am optimistic for Maxi Lopez’s contract renewal and his entourage realised we’ve done all we can with the offer. As for Bruno Peres, I am convinced we will soon find a solution that satisfies everyone.”
