Torino are looking to Marco Giampaolo or Leonardo Semplici to be their coach next season, with Moreno Longo unlikely to remain.

Longo was only brought in on February 4 to replace Walter Mazzarri, but lost all three matches in charge before the shutdown.

According to Tuttosport, the new favourite to lead the way next term is former Milan coach Giampaolo.

He was fired just seven matches into the current campaign, so has been out of work since October 8.

Giampaolo is still under contract with the Rossoneri until 2021, so would need to first negotiate a termination by mutual consent.

Another candidate for Torino is former SPAL boss Semplici, who was fired last month.

It would be a reunion at Toro for ex-SPAL coach Semplici and director Davide Vagnati, who only made the switch this week.
