Fiorentina are determined to bring in Lucas Paqueta from Milan, reportedly but want it to be a loan with obligation to buy for €30m.

Many sources in Italy, including Calciomercato.com, put the Viola as the absolute favourites to sign Paqueta, ahead even of Paris Saint-Germain.

The ideal would be to get the Brazilian on a two-year loan with obligation to buy, but Milan are more likely to accept delayed payment over one season, if they have to include a loan at all.

The 22-year-old has struggled since his €38m plus bonuses transfer from Flamengo in January 2019, unable to find his place in the squad or their tactics.

Fiorentina had already tried to sign him on loan in January, while Paqueta had also been proposed to Juventus for Federico Bernardeschi.

Paqueta would reunite with former Milan striker Patrick Cutrone at the Stadio Franchi.
